Donor Recognition
The Sylvania Franciscans appreciate and recognize your commitment and financial support to our mission, Sisters and ministries. Your donation is acknowledged in the Sylvania Franciscan development newsletter that is published twice a year. As an additional way to show our gratitude, we have created a Donor Recognition Wall in Rosary Care Center where donors are listed by accumulated levels of giving.
This ceramic wall of tribute was designed by Sister Ruth Marie Kachelek, a former Congregational Minister and resident artist, who among other things, painted the San Damiano Crucifix that hangs in the sanctuary of Queen of Peace Chapel. The wall was created by Sister Jane Mary Sorosiak, who has dozens of ceramic artwork on the Motherhouse grounds and in churches and hospitals around the United States.
