Getting to Know Us

We Sylvania Franciscans are eager to tell our story and share our mission!  Come that you might grow to know us and learn to love us by participating with Sisters in day/evening and weekend experiences, as well as week-long service and life opportunities.  These include:

"Meet and Greet"

Evening gatherings are planned on a regular basis throughout the year to give interested women a chance to meet Sisters through a shared meal or refreshments, prayer and conversation.  

"Come and See"

Service Opportunities

We connect with the Lourdes University Campus Ministry group joining them in service at the Helping Hands of St. Louis Outreach Center in East Toledo to serve warm, nutritious meals to the needy.  Other opportunities include serving at Our Lady of Lourdes Soup Kitchen in South Toledo, volunteering at Josina Lott, a residential and community services facility for adults with developmental disabilities, and week-long summer projects.
