The Sisters of St. Francis of Sylvania, Ohio, are ecclesial women living a Gospel life, praying and working together for the love of Christ Jesus and his mission to the world. They follow the spirit of St. Francis, St. Clare, and their congregational foundress, Mother M. Adelaide. As Franciscans, the Sisters envision themselves as joyful servants among God's people, and as messengers of peace, they reverence human dignity, embrace the poor and marginalized, and respect the gift of all creation.
