7th and 8th graders visit our Motherhouse
On Wednesday, May 7, 2008, about 20 eighth grade girls from St. Michael's School in Monroe, Michigan, visited Sylvania. Arriving at about 9:30 am, they visited Queen of Peace Chapel, the outdoor crucifix by the House of Prayer, the Our Lady of Sylvania Statue, the Portiuncula, the Lourdes College Life Lab, and ended with noon liturgy and a pizza lunch in the Regina Hall Conference Room. Sister Dorothy Jayne Krupp initiated the visit which was facilitated by Sister Geraldine Nowak and the Vocation Office--and many Sylvania Franciscans!
