A Charitable Gift Annuity is a simple contract that allows someone, 50 and above to make a gift to the Sisters of St. Francis. The donor makes a contract to transfer cash or other assets to our Congregation in exchange for guaranteed regular payments for life based on the donor’s age. Donors have a personal interest in enjoying the benefits of guaranteed regular payments for life. Donors are willing to participate because they have a special interest in seeing the organization continue its work and growth.
A Gift Annuity with the Sylvania Franciscans provides you with a number of financial and spiritual benefits. Annuitants are eligible to take a charitable tax deduction in the year they make their gift and a portion of their annuity payment is tax-free income. All annuitants benefit spiritually from the daily prayers and Masses of the Sisters of St. Francis.
