Used to help subsidize Sisters volunteering in ministry directly with the poor and marginalized in activities such as learning centers, Third World Ministry ( Haiti), the education and housing for two Sisters from Tanzania, and shelters for abused women and children.
Total annual expenses are approximately $80,000.
Several of our Sisters (pictured top left) have spent time in Haiti with Sister Fidelis and have seen the results of our benefactors generosity and support.
Seven cisterns (pictured top right) have been finished in the last year and a half in Haiti and seven more are in progress. As the work has progressed and the people have seen the results, they have become more and more dedicated to the success of this project. Donations of a couple generous benefactors this year have helped us to continue this work at a faster rate. In addition, the people themselves are involved in applying for funds from Catholic Charities in their own diocese.
